Endorsement
If you are applying for endorsement in the fields of science, engineering, medicine, the social sciences or the humanities or for other academic and research roles, you’ll need to forward your application to one of these organisations:
These organisations will make an endorsement decision based on the evidence you provide.
If you are applying for endorsement in non-academic fields of arts and culture and digital technology, your application will be sent to either:
If your qualifying field is fashion, architecture or film and television, Arts Council England will pass on your application for review to:
British Fashion Council (for fashion)
Royal Institute of British Architects (for architecture)
Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television (for film and television).

Global Talent: Prestigious Prizes
Applicants who hold one of the prestigious prizes (all listed HERE) are eligible to apply for a Global Talent visa without the need to obtain an endorsement. These prizes have been identified by the Global Talent endorsing bodies as demonstrating exceptional talent.
How Long Can You Stay in the UK?
You can apply to stay for between 1 and 5 years.
You can apply to extend your visa as many times as you like. Each extension can last from 1 to 5 years.
When Can You Apply for Settlement?
It takes only three years from your first grant to settlement if an Endorsing body recognised you as an exceptional talent. It’s five years with an exceptional promise endorsement in either arts and culture or digital technology. In other words, the more talented you are, the quicker you can settle in the UK.
